Job Description
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
# Provide a wide range of administrative support to NESN’s Finance department.
# Maintain company records
# Track expenses
# Assist with audits through locating and gathering needed data
# Provide back-up accounting support e.g. sending checks to vendors, vouchering when needed, checking receipts and calculations on expense reports
# Provide data entry
# Cover reception area and answer/direct calls coming into the main company number during Receptionist’s breaks and when needed
# File and maintain binders for each department
# Make Bank Deposits and Credit Card payments
# Make copies as needed
# Other related tasks and projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
# Must be able to receive college credit for this internship and provide verification that credit will be received.
# 1+ years of administrative experience
# Proficient with MS Word and Excel and ability to learn and apply new software applications quickly
# Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects
# Must be extremely detail-oriented
# Excellent communication skills
# Ability to work in a loosely structured and fast paced work environment
# Good track record of demonstrating initiative
# Solid work ethic
