Job Description
Job Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited vocational school of nursing.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years recent experience in an acute care setting. Must be able to float to multiple clinical areas.
Certifications: Current CPR required
If applicable - ACLS Required for Stepdown and specialty units required.
Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment.
Training: 30 hour IV Course required
License: Currently licensed or eligible for LPN licensure in the State of Florida
Other: Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
Job Summary:
JOB SUMMARY: Performs and documents selected acts such as the administration of treatments and medications in delivery of patient care under the guidance and discretion of the registered nurse. Assist the RN in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care according to established policies. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Uses knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.Ask about our competitive PRN pay plans to recognize your flexibility and willingness to work multiple locations.
